A bit of background…
Venn diagrams originated in the 19th century and have maintained gain great relevance even to date. Be it the business world or our day to day lives, Venn diagrams continue to have a significant and powerful visual impact on the audience in question.
To understand more, in mathematics, Venn diagrams derive from a subset called a set theory. They were designed by John Venn in 1981 to explain the ties between objects and draw relationships between them. The method has proved to be a very useful tool and its usage is practised widely across plenty of different areas and fields.
What is a Venn Diagram
Data and concepts in the business world often carry interesting relationships. Just typing these down on slides can get boring and monotonous. Venn diagrams help officials and professionals to creatively organize data so that they can see the relationships between different or multiple sets of objects in the simplest way possible. Venn diagrams make it easier to distinguish between similarities and distinctions. A Venn diagram includes crossing, overlapping, or merging of circles or shapes to simplify information. Each of the shapes includes all the components of a set. The components that the set has in common are shown as the shapes overlap. A very easy and accessible way to demonstrate basic business strategies.
