How to save PowerPoint as PDF?

A strong presentation can enhance your chances of getting noticed in business meetings; after all, who doesn’t want to have a great first impression on potential clients or their bosses? Using impactful PowerPoint presentations is a default way of business communication in person and remotely. At times, when we send presentations remotely, our clients might not be able to access them as the devices might not be compatible enough to run PowerPoint. Therefore, it is always a best practice that PPT be converted into a PDF format so remote clients or teams who don’t have access to PowerPoint can view it. 

How to save PowerPoint as PDF in windows?

Trust me, it’s no rocket science, you just need to know the right steps, and you are all set. Here in this blog, we will present a PowerPoint tutorial on how to make PPT into PDF.

Step 1: Once your presentation is completed, you must save it or upload it on the drive. Then, open your PPT and select the ‘files’ option present in the top left corner. 

Step 2: Then click on ‘export.’ 

Step 3: In the export menu, you will find ‘Create PDF/XPS documents’ click on that and then click on ‘create PDF/XPS.’ 

Step 4: Select the location where you want to save the PDF and Click ‘publish’.

How to convert PPT to PDF on macOS

If you are a macOS user, you have two methods to save your files.

Method 1

Step 1: Once your presentation is completed, click on ‘file’ present in the top left corner of the screen.

Step 2: Now click on ‘save as’.

Step 3: Here select the preferred location where you want to save your file. 

Step 4: Click on ‘file format’ and choose PDF. 

Step 5: Click ‘publish’.

Your PPT will be converted to PDF and saved in your chosen location.

Method 2

Step 1: Once your presentation is completed, open your PPT and click on the ‘file’ option. 

Step 2: Under the ‘file’ option choose export.

Step 3: Now select the location where you want to export your file. 

Step 4: Click on ‘file format’ and choose PDF. 

After this, your presentation will be converted to PDF and exported to the set location.

So, these were the ways you can save your PDFs without using any third-party apps.
You can also use third-party apps, but your security and privacy always remain vulnerable.
